Investigative reporter Hector Ramirez goes undercover in a shadowy underground compound to dig up a story on a mysterious cult sweeping through San Francisco's disenchanted youth. But the "spiritual movement" is actually a cleverly disguised recruiting operation for Blackthorne Shore, who's working to build an army for the Inhumanoids. When D'Compose unleashes his decaying powers on the crowd, the teens transform into mindless, rampaging zombies that storm the city. Earth Corps races to stop the chaos without harming the kids, but the mission spirals out of control when Herc and Auger fall victim to the same horrifying transformation.
