Senator Masterson and tabloid-TV host Hector Remirez, backed by a crew of bumbling celebrity thugs, launch a wildly reckless, live broadcast stunt—a "journey to the center of the Earth" in a fleet of airships, aiming to rescue the Statue of Liberty from Metlar's clutches. Meanwhile, Auger and his team happily ignore the impending spectacle, focusing instead on teammate Derek Bright's wedding to fiery actress Stella Blaze, whom they recently saved from Tendril's obsessive grip. But the villain crashes the ceremony, turning the happy occasion into chaos.
