S01E27 Hodge's Secret

Hodge is eager to prove his independence, but Eddie is always hovering, preventing him from tackling tasks alone. When Wilson unexpectedly startles Hodge, he accidentally damages a junction box. Determined to handle the situation, Hodge uses the crane to shove the wires back in and close it up. Initially, it seems simple, but soon bizarre issues arise: lights flicker, signals malfunction, and chuggers are misrouted. Realizing the connection to the broken box, Hodge and Wilson panic. Fearing Eddie's reaction, Hodge hesitates to confess, knowing it could lead to a loss of trust. Ultimately, he gathers his courage and admits the mistake. Eddie, relieved, quickly repairs the box and promises to give Hodge more responsibilities in the future, while Hodge vows to be honest about any future problems.
