S03E05 The Holy See

With the passing of Sixtus IV, Lorenzo and Clarice journey to Rome to champion their chosen candidate for the papacy, facing opposition from Riario's schemes. To their surprise, they gain an ally in Caterina Sforza, Riario's spouse. However, their maneuvering becomes complicated by the unpredictable nature of the newly elected Pope Cybo. Meanwhile, in Florence, Savonarola vehemently criticizes Lorenzo's sway over the conclave, intensifying the tensions surrounding the Medici's ambitions.
