Narrow Escapes of WWII
S01E13 Moore's March
As the Italians gear up for an invasion of Egypt in the summer of 1940, the British army's Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) wreaks havoc deep in enemy territory. Following an ambush on one of their patrols, a resilient New Zealander named Ron Moore guides the remaining members, navigating the harsh desert landscape barefoot, as they trek 300 miles back to Allied lines.
