S03E03 The Earth Queen

Team Avatar arrives in Ba Sing Se, where Korra meets with the Earth Queen. Meanwhile, Mako and Bolin realize that Kai has gone missing and set out to find him. They manage to locate him, but Kai evades them on the monorail, leading the brothers to the Lower Ring, where they encounter their father's side of the family. Meanwhile, Korra and Asami head to a nearby village to collect taxes on behalf of the Queen. After receiving the payment, the Queen dismisses Korra's plea for assistance in locating the airbenders, prompting the Avatar to leave the palace in frustration. In the city, Kai is captured by the Dai Li and forced into the Earth Queen's new airbending regiment.
