After attending a Jack Kemp rally, Rachel shares her political opinions, sparking a heated debate with Mohammed that leaves her feeling wounded. Meanwhile, Pedro goes on his first date with Sean, and Cory accidentally upsets Mo's girlfriend, Stephanie, by questioning her racial background. In an effort to strengthen their bond, Mo sets up a poetry night at their home, offering a fresh way for everyone to connect.
