S01E14 Reagan Tries to Wipe Out National Debt with TV Home Shopping Show

On New Year's Eve, individuals are setting their resolutions. Fred realizes he has been too accommodating to his customers and decides it’s time for a change. Meanwhile, Reagan appears on a home shopping network, aiming to eliminate the national debt. Influential figures like Kissinger, Lee Iacocca, and John Madden encourage Fred to adopt a new persona, transforming him from a pushover into a media sensation. Just in time, Fred snaps out of his persona to assist Sean Penn. Ed Asner makes a surprise visit, leading Reagan to mistakenly identify him as Gorbachev.
