After losing the use of his hands in a hit-and-run incident, Justin, a former cartoonist from Smallville High, returns to his hometown. At the same time, Pamela, Lex's former nanny, arrives to check on him and to express her regrets for abandoning him following his mother's passing. Her return stirs up painful memories and unresolved feelings for Lex as he confronts the past.
