Anderson, Goldman, and Captain Wallace are examining a new addition to the platoon's weapons: a flamethrower. Meanwhile, Zeke and Goldman express their displeasure about the upcoming mission, which will also feature a stunning female reporter, Vicky Adams. Zeke struggles against her attempts to "get the good stuff" and his men's efforts to impress her, all while putting their lives at risk. When a prisoner reveals that they are surrounded by an NVA regiment, Wallace remains determined to stay and fight, leading to an increasingly dire situation.
