S05E05 I Want Love

Jenny's mother approaches the firm for help with her wrongful termination lawsuit, claiming she was fired for dating a 20-year-old. Despite Jenny's desire for Ally to sabotage the case, Ally can't compromise her ethics. The proceedings reflect the dynamics of Ally and Glenn’s own relationship. Consequently, Ally’s powerful closing argument inspires Jenny to accept her future stepfather. Meanwhile, Glenn attempts to connect with Ally, but she remains wary of potential heartbreak. On another front, Ling hunts for more thrilling cases for her show, even bringing an entire orchestra to the courtroom. Richard becomes fixated on Ms. Shaw’s unique waddle, but Francis points out that he’s out of her league.
