The medical team pulled Shona from the challenge for a closer look. Nico announced a restart for the sudden death round, swapping Shane in for Yontau and Felix for Killarney on the Masu team. With Nico adding two more wooden balls to the muddy pit, the competition dragged on for another hour until Toni finally scored the decisive point for Masu. By the end of the challenge, both tribes were left feeling emotionally exhausted, with Meryl and Marian in tears over the tumultuous events that had unfolded.
