Miss Piggy reveals that the episode is dedicated to Kermit's birthday, catching him off guard as she dives straight into her surprise tribute. They've crafted a special This Is Your Life-themed celebration featuring heartfelt messages, including one from Mr. Dawson, Kermit's former acting mentor from Leland, Mississippi. The return of Wayne and Wanda, the singing pair from the inaugural season, brings Kermit to feel guilty, leading him to give them their jobs back. However, as they perform, Kermit is reminded of the reasons he let them go initially.
