The Planeteers remain stuck in the mine while Captain Planet battles against Captain Pollution. As they work to escape, Kwame, Linka, Wheeler, and Gi share stories from their childhoods. Once they finally break free, they team up with federal agents to take down Plunder. They then return to Commander Clash's island to assist Captain Planet. In a thrilling showdown, Captain Planet defeats Captain Pollution by submerging him in clean lava, sending Pollution away once more!
