Lou embarks on a journey to El Salvador, a country plagued by the world's second-highest murder rate, to delve into the notorious 18th Street gang. This brutal, multi-ethnic criminal organization is locked in a fierce conflict with the rival gang MS-13. To uncover the reasons behind this ongoing violence, Lou must confront the gang's notorious leader, Viejo Lin. His quest leads him to Izalco Prison in Sonsonate, where 838 of the most dangerous 18th Street members, including many from the gang's inner circle, are incarcerated.
