The episode opens with Mark recalling his impressive dunks from practice in the previous installment, highlighting how he secured a spot on the Golden State Warriors. It picks up right where we left off, with Mark receiving the call from the team. Meanwhile, Vanessa learns that Mark has quit his school job. Now on a 10-day contract, Mark must prove himself in two upcoming games against the Phoenix Suns. Robin believes in Mark’s potential but also worries he might not make the cut, so she convinces the high school coach to keep his position open. In a twist, Robin gets qualified to teach the self-defense class but keeps it a secret from Mark. Later, an injury occurs when Vanessa gets hurt during Robin's practice drills.
