Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels embark on a time-traveling adventure to encounter Cavey's father, the leader of the Cavey tribe. However, they quickly discover that his authority is in jeopardy due to the return of the Mellog, a sinister beast that Cavey's father had vanquished in the past. When the Mellog's statue unexpectedly awakens, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels dive into an investigation to uncover the truth behind this newfound threat.
