Hardie's getaway takes an unexpected turn when a stagecoach vanishes while traversing the treacherous Rocking Horse Hills badlands. Determined to uncover the truth, he retraces its path and discovers it was abandoned with the son of a wealthy man and his fiancée both unaccounted for. Strangely, there is no money left on the stage, raising more questions about what really happened.
