S01E01 The Weight of the Inheritance

Ubaldo, a former soldier now employed at a bank in São Paulo, travels northeast after receiving land from the father he never met, a notorious cangaceiro. During a bank heist, he finds himself taken hostage but narrowly avoids a grim fate by proposing insider information for a future robbery. His convincing demeanor sways the gang to consider his offer, but they demand proof of his claims before they’ll agree to his terms.
