After four decades of peace, the Cylons launch a surprise assault on the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, deploying a virus that infiltrates humanity’s defense network. This makes it the last operational warship available to combat the Cylons, offering a glimmer of hope for the survivors as they seek a way to escape to the distant planet known as 'Earth'.
