Tommy and Lori discover a way to free Merton from his stone state by buying a potion from an underground group. Maxwell Fong demands $1,000 for it, but the pair can't afford that, so Tommy trades in his prized Elway Rookie Card to raise the cash. The potion works, but Merton loses his senses. They return to Fong for the antidote, which he offers for $5,000—until he learns Tommy is a werewolf. Instead, Fong proposes a no-rules fight against his champion, with the antidote as the prize. Tommy accepts, unaware his opponent is a Cyclops.
