In 1970, army surgeon Jeffrey MacDonald becomes the sole survivor of a horrific home invasion that results in the deaths of his wife and daughters. However, as he recounts a tale involving murderous hippies, investigators grow suspicious and begin to suspect that MacDonald himself may be responsible for the tragic events.
