After a dog that had been adopted suddenly turns up at a shelter in Mississippi, Tania and Earl rush to help. Meanwhile, Joe, who is on parole, is left unsettled after he intervenes in a brawl between two stray dogs outside the shelter. Additionally, an adoption takes an unexpected turn, complicating the situation further.
