Detective Helen Moustakas finally gets a chance to unwind on the island of Aegina, accompanied by her daughter Thalia and half-sister Shirley Rangi. However, their vacation takes a dark turn when a local heartthrob is mysteriously found dead at the home of an aristocratic English widow. As Helen questions the potential suspects, Thalia and Shirley find themselves in a precarious situation, unaware of the dangers lurking around them.
