Finn helps Will unlock the dormant strength inside him. Bathed in a silver glow, Will cuts through the monsters swarming the capital, heading straight for the Devander. He confronts the creature alone, armed only with a mage-slayer. The students who once mocked him watch in awe as he fights. Spurred on by their cheers, Will pushes forward—until the Devander’s blow shatters his sword in two.
