Montmorency reaches Domrémy Village, eager to find a path to becoming Ulysses. He soon finds himself caught in a conflict between a French mercenary group and the English forces fighting for dominance over the area. During the skirmish, a young girl named Jeanne is gravely injured. In a desperate bid to save her, Montmorency uses his cherished Philosopher's Stone to heal her. "You must survive this, Jeanne!" Suddenly, the mighty Ulysses emerges to confront the oppressive English troops!
