Vanessa and the girls decide to surprise Mike with a classic 1967 Impala for his birthday, and he's thrilled about the chance to spend some quality time with the car in the garage. However, things take a turn when the original owner, Joe, keeps popping by with spare parts and unsolicited suggestions. Mike tries to hint that he’d rather work alone. On another note, Mandy feels frustrated when Vanessa permits Eve to attend a music festival, recalling how she was never given the same freedom during her own childhood.
