Larry, Jeff, and Ted are in a rush to secure a chef for their upcoming restaurant, but Larry dismisses Ted's suggestion. In his quest for a suitable candidate, Larry discovers some surprising truths: Cheryl has a new male friend who plays tennis, wedding gifts can't be returned after a year, and an unexpected solution to stains is simply club soda and salt.
