S02E02 Old Flame

Eddie (Timothy Spall), a local taxi driver, picks up Bob, the husband of his first love, Pat. Intrigued by the chance to reconnect with Pat, Eddie agrees to attend a charity event with Bob. His wife, Margie (Ger Ryan), reluctantly decides to join him, feeling uneasy about the reunion. However, when Margie finds a lump in her breast while showering, she cancels their plans. Unaware of Margie's distress, Eddie heads out alone, drinking heavily and impulsively splurging on a set of signed snooker balls to impress Pat. The next morning, he fails a breathalyser test, losing both his license and job, while Margie grapples with her hidden pain.
