Jack Rimmer, the head of Waterloo Road Comprehensive, brings on board Andrew Treneman, an Oxbridge graduate, in hopes of revitalizing the struggling school and lifting it from the depths of the league tables. Meanwhile, Tom and Lorna are set to marry, but in a surprising twist, the groom finds himself sharing a kiss with someone other than his bride.
