Nate, a rising restaurateur in Portland, comes back from a work trip only to have his life flipped. His smooth-talking best friend and roommate, Jimmy, has started a romance with Nate’s just-separated mom, Lydia. Adding insult to injury, Nate’s dad, Harrison—who never showed much interest before—has suddenly decided he’s desperate to rekindle things with her.
