Big Man, Little Love

A young Kurdish orphan named Hêjar and a Turkish widower, Rıfat, a retired judge who avoids politics, find their paths crossing by chance. After a police raid leaves Hêjar the sole survivor from her Kurdish neighbors, she hides in Rıfat’s home. Initially reluctant, he slowly grows fond of the girl and resolves to help her find her family.
