National Theatre at Home: London Road

In autumn 2006, the quiet Suffolk town of Ipswich is rocked when the bodies of five women are found. A resident of 79 London Road is arrested, charged, and eventually convicted of the murders. As headlines swarm and their street is overrun, the community struggles with what it means to sit at the heart of such tragedy. Told in their own words and set to an inventive musical score, London Road is a moving account of ordinary people uniting through extraordinary circumstances. Director Rufus Norris, writer Alecky Blythe, and composer Adam Cork reunite for the return of this acclaimed verbatim musical.
