Stan and Ollie, a couple of sailors, spot two ladies in the park and offer to treat them to sodas, despite their nearly empty pockets. Fortune smiles when Stan hits the jackpot on a slot machine, giving them enough cash to rent a boat for a lake outing. But their peaceful cruise quickly turns chaotic as they clash with other boaters, and soon the whole bunch—including the sailors and their new friends—are splashing into the water.
