The Queen and the Coup

Britain's MI6, in collaboration with America's C.I.A., orchestrates a coup that dismantles Iran’s last democratic government, setting the stage for enduring tensions between Iran and the West. Astonishingly, even Queen Elizabeth remains unaware of her involvement, as both she and the powerful Shah are manipulated to oust Iran’s democratic Prime Minister. The fallout from this coup triggers widespread political chaos throughout the Middle East, culminating in the Islamic Revolution of 1979. This pivotal moment not only ends the Shah's reign but also marks a significant decline in British and American influence in the region, igniting a wave of Islamist uprisings globally.
