Kyo Otsuka, a timid high schooler lacking any self-assurance, secretly harbors a crush on Naoko Miki, the most sought-after girl in his class. Rather than risk rejection, he observes her from a distance while she spends time with her lively circle, which includes Hirofumi—her childhood friend and Kyo's own buddy.
