Angie Bullaro
Angie Bullaro is a dynamic force in the world of storytelling, seamlessly wearing the hats of actor, writer, filmmaker, and producer. Her creative journey began early, fueled by a childhood love for narratives that she nurtured into a lifelong craft. As an award-winning author, Bullaro has proven her literary prowess, notably penning the children's book *Breaking the Ice*, which draws from the inspirational true story of Manon Rheaume.
Bullaro's cinematic ambitions led her to establish Lazy Kitty Productions, a venture that launched with the feature film *The Networker*, in which she also starred. Driven by a desire to spotlight strong female protagonists, she conceived the idea for *Between the Pipes*, a screenplay centered on Rheaume’s historic hockey career. Bullaro reached out to Rheaume, who enthusiastically collaborated on the script. Though the global pandemic delayed production, the project is poised to begin filming in spring 2021.
Her multifaceted talents extend beyond the page and screen; Bullaro is also an accomplished producer and screenwriter whose work reflects a deep commitment to authentic, empowering stories. She resides in New York City with her husband, Mike Musco, and her cat, Miles. When she’s not crafting narratives, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing soccer. Yet, her true passion remains the art of creation—spending hours in Central Park, climbing trees, and dreaming up fantastical tales that continue to captivate audiences across mediums.
