Brandon George Washington—known professionally as WriterBoy—is an American author and filmmaker whose creative journey began early. At seventeen, he published his debut novel, *Dust in the Water*, a milestone that set the stage for a multifaceted career. Soon after, he founded WriterBoyFilms®, his own production company, and directed his first short film, *I Am Like Tiffany*, a poignant piece addressing domestic abuse. The overwhelming response from audiences, many of whom credited him as a voice for the voiceless, solidified his mission: not merely to entertain, but to inspire lasting change.

By nineteen, WriterBoy wrote and directed his first feature-length film, *Adapt*, a hard-hitting exploration of teenage bullying. Following a televised interview on FOX5, the film premiered in theaters to packed—and even oversold—audiences. His rising profile soon attracted a major production deal with a company partnered with Lionsgate, making him the youngest director in the room among seasoned industry veterans.

Now in his twenties, WriterBoy has expanded his influence across media. He has written, directed, and produced commercials for major brands including Netflix and Burger King, and has helmed music videos distributed on platforms such as Vevo and VH1. He has also launched a social media management firm, positioning himself as a digital-age entrepreneur.

Drawing inspiration from trailblazers like Tyler Perry, Spike Lee, and Lee Daniels, WriterBoy has become a sought-after motivational speaker and a defining voice for his generation—committed to uplifting, challenging, and transforming the world through his art.
