Onya Nurve, the captivating stage persona of Justin Woody, is an American drag artist set to compete in the highly anticipated seventeenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2025.

Prior to her Drag Race journey, Onya garnered recognition as Cleveland's best drag performer, an accolade awarded in the Cleveland Scene's 2023 Best of Cleveland issue. In 2022, she achieved a significant milestone by winning the coveted title of Mx. Zephyr during the inaugural Zephyr Drag Takeover competition in Kent. Her contributions to the local LGBTQ community are underscored by her role as the first ArtReach fellow for Haus of Transcendent, a nonprofit organization based in Cleveland.

In 2024, Onya demonstrated her artistic influence by serving as a consultant for the Dobama Theatre’s production of AT THE WAKE OF A DEAD DRAG QUEEN, showcasing her deep connection to the theatrical aspects of drag culture.
